A foot injury prevents Vernay from racing in Valencia

SP Compétition’s Jean Karl Vernay will miss this weekend’s event in Valencia due to a foot injury.

“It was an ordinary incident, as I fell from the stairs, but I broke my external malleolus. It was the first time in my life that I break a bone!” explained the French driver.

“Luckily the doctors said that I’m young and fit, and so things are proceeding well and fast. I will have the next Xray check on the 23^rd of June, and after a few days I should be able to start the rehabilitation. My target is to be ready to race at Vila Real.”
